La Administración de Alimentos y Medicamentos aprobó el jueves un nuevo medicamento, Linzess, para tratar el síndrome del intestino irritable con estreñimiento. El fármaco, conocido genéricamente como linaclotida, acelera los movimientos intestinales y reduce el dolor en muchos pacientes con el trastornoThe Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved a new drug, Linzess, to treat irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. The drug, known generically as linaclotide, speeds up bowel movements and reduces pain in many patients with the disorder.
